The difference between a floral designer and
a florist?
The biggest difference between a floral designer and a florist is that a floral designer procures and designs specifically for a client or event, choosing products from several resources to tie all the décor elements together to create a vision or theme. A florist only provides the flowers.

Petal Creations does not stock an inventory because we are always on the look-out for the most unique flowers available and in season and the most visually appealing décor items. When we create a vision or theme for a wedding or event, we place orders for unique items that a florist shop would not carry. We take the time to create your vision or theme using floral artistry that is extraordinary, working with props and other elements that are as unique as you are.

Effective planning is the key to any successful event. We offer our clients a personal consultation to focus on the floral décor details. Inspiration comes in many forms… the personality and style of the bride or client, the bridal gown, reflections of the season, the venue and surrounding architecture and the time of day. No two weddings or events are designed the same way. We work with our clients to create an ambience, not just a “look”.
